The Ocean Community YMCA is now seeking a Business Operations Director for the Naik Family Branch located in beautiful Mystic, CT.  

This is a full-time, exempt position that supports the mission of the YMCA by performing a high level of duties requiring administrative support, initiative, and efficiency for the Branch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering Human Resources information for the branch
  • Playing an active leadership role in the Branch’s Annual Support Campaign and providing administrative support
  • Oversee Financial Assistance applications and reporting
  • Handles refunds, credits, and collections
  • Handles office supply orders and manages inventory
  • Assists with Board of Managers correspondence and reports
  • Involvement with special projects as needed

Qualifications include:

  • Associates degree in Business preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years office manager experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Highly organized nature and ability to work independently
  • Positive, outgoing personality with sound judgement skills
  • CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen Administration certified through the American Red Cross-YMCA willing to train
