Monday–Friday: 5:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Occasional Saturdays

The Ocean Community YMCA- Naik Family Branch is seeking a friendly, responsible, and safety-minded Wellness Attendant to support our Wellness Center and Gym. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable supervising fitness areas, and is committed to promoting a welcoming and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist members and guests in the Wellness Center and Gym.
• Ensure safe and proper use of fitness equipment; provide equipment orientations as needed.
• Monitor gym floor activity and enforce YMCA rules and policies to ensure member safety and a positive environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of fitness and gym areas.
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
• Serve as a point of contact for member questions and provide exceptional service.
• Supervise gym usage and ensure safe play and behavior in open gym or structured activity times.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior experience in fitness, recreation, or customer service a plus.
