Youth Program Attendant
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about working with children and creating fun, safe experiences? The Ocean Community YMCA is hiring a Youth Program Attendant to support our Parent’s Night Out program this summer at the Ocean House. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with kids and contributing to a positive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• - Supervise and engage with youth ages 5–10 during Parent’s Night Out.
• - Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities.
• - Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all participants.
• - Follow all YMCA safety, youth protection, and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
• - Experience working with youth in a group setting (volunteer or paid).
• - Current certification in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration (YMCA will provide training if needed).
• - Friendly, reliable, and committed to upholding YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
