Office Manager-Part Time

Mystic, CT

The Ocean Community YMCA is now seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the operations of the Naik Family Branch located in Mystic, CT.

This is a part-time, 20-25 hours per week position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with Human Resources functions in the branch related to onboarding new hires and assisting with payroll
  • Placing orders for branch supplies
  • Monitoring AP and AR duties for branch including purchase orders, check requestions, ect.
  • Coordinating branch staff meetings
  • Preparing agendas, meeting items, and taking minutes for branch staff and board meetings
  • Supervise daily cash reconciliation and manages petty cash
  • Assists with membership duties at Welcome Center as needed
  • Participates in special events for branch and Association
  • Actively promote and assist with Annual Support Campaign

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with minimum of 3-5 years office experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR/AED/FA/Emergency O2 Certified- ARC-YMCA willing to train
